This work is an escellent source for anyone searching for their ancestors. One person claims to have found more that 50 of her direct line ancestors in these books. It goes back to the time of Alfred the Great and before. It includes lines of descent and extensive information on the old royal and titled families of Europe, Britain, Scandinavia, Greece, Russia and more. There are lines of descent and extensive information on all of the allied familes listed here, some of whom were Mayflower passengers in 1620. The information was accumulated from any sources.
Contains the old royal and titled families of England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jerusalem, Portugal, Russia, Scandinavia, Scotland, Sicily, Slavs-Bulgars-Poles, Spain and Wales, with all of the famous royalty and many of the obscure names. It spans the period of about 400 A.D. to about 1600 A.D. It contains lines of descent and extensive inforamation on each individual and their connections to each other and to the American immigrants.
