This is the second edition of Swafford/Swofford Famlies of America. It is greatly expanded from the 1975 first edition and now contains 32 manuscripts about 32 different Swafford/Swofford family groups that the author has as not been able to connect together or to his other book Swaffords of Sequatchie Valley, TN.
During the 45 plus years of research, the author has collected all of the Swafford/Swofford listings, by any spelling, he that came across through much correspondence has obtained more information to form family groups and prepare manuscripts on them.
