War Victims Trust Fund (WVFT) is a non-profit organization under section 501c(3) of the tax code. Rangers of the Korean War organized WVTF in coordination with members of CORDS (Civil Operations and Rural Development Support) from Viet Nam. Our purpose is to help victims of any war who have lost their opportunity to achieve goals in life due to fortunes of war. We receive contributions from those who would like to help and distribute to families whose cases have been reviewed and approved by our board of directors. We determine need from official war casualty information.

In 1993, we published the book, The Cold Steel Third: 3rd Airborne Ranger Company, Korean War (1950-1951) (CST). Proceeds were used to help families of about eighteen Special Operations Troopers who were killed in Somalia. Our contributions thus far have been limitd to what might be equivalent to the last check home from the lost loved one.
